100 Pounds Inside and Out

The external changes are evident, but if I could convey the impact of shedding 100 pounds from my perspective, it would genuinely astound you.

As I jotted down my morning gratitude in my Five Minute Journal, this quote stood out at the top.

I hadn't planned on delving into my weight loss journey today, but something clicked. The outcomes I experience now are a direct result of the consistent choices I've made over the past 3 1/2 years.

It's more than just losing weight; it's about discovering emotional freedom through a steadfast daily routine of healthy eating, regular exercise, and immersing myself in scripture (hope) and positive input (books and audios).

In Darren Hardy's "The Compound Effect," he emphasizes,

"You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine."

Every morning, I wake up excited about what the day holds. I'm certainly not headed to the donut shop (picture on the left) or the liquor cabinet. I've consciously opted for healthier choices, aiming not only to improve my external appearance but, more importantly, to feel absolutely AMAZING on the inside.

I express gratitude to God each day for this blessing. My lifelong quest for answers regarding my weight has found an unexpected resolution—it's about how I begin my day and the daily consistency that transforms me from the inside out.

It would be my honor to send you a Five Minute Gratitude Journal or The Compound Effect book by Darren Hardy. Both books have made such an impact on my life. Request one on my blog: up2Him.com

If you would like a copy of any of the devotionals or books I reference, please request one below, and I would be honored to send you one. Please reference the title of the post/devotional to ensure I send you the correct devotional/author. See my mission in the "About Me" link.
