Shine like a star, walk the high road, and be an example.
How challenging is it to walk the high road and be the example, be the star when faced with adversity, drama, and chaos around you?
Reading through a devotional today reminded me how I should behave when things "don't go my way" when the circumstances around me are less than optimal.
How do you respond when things don't go your way? Do you grumble, complain, speak out, gossip, or act poorly? Or do you shine like a star, walk the high road, and provide an example for others to follow?
I pray that the next time I am faced with a situation that I disagree with, I "Shine Like a Star," beaming God's wisdom and love. I pray that I set an example for others and show them the HOPE that there can be a better way.
Things don't always go our way, but we can choose how we respond. Today, SHINE LIKE A STAR.
