Transformation begins with me. It begins with you.
“Knowledge alone doesn’t bring growth; seeing others develop brings growth.” When John Maxwell said this today while speaking to a group of educators in Sao Paulo, Brazil, it reminded me of how important transformation tables are.
Let me explain. During the time that the Maxwell Organization has been teaching iLead/Transformation Tables in countries around the world, they have proven the following stats, which I find remarkable.
After one year's of values teaching, they have 17% less disciplinary problems in schools with the kids that have gone through the program. But knowledge alone doesn’t bring the growth - seeing others develop brings the growth. When kids have the knowledge, and they see it demonstrated, their growth impact goes up to 20%. Better yet, when they have the knowledge (learn the values), see it demonstrated, AND they practice it, their growth impact (potential) goes up to 60%. Wouldn’t we all want to see the growth and potential in our lives go up 60%?
Get this. It gets better. When they combine knowledge (learning), with demonstration, practice AND sharing (talking about what they are seeing, learning and practicing), the growth impact goes to 90%! Yes, 90%! This is the impact that the iLead program and Transformation Tables are having around the world. The best news is this just isn’t for kids/students. It’s for all of us!
We can change our world. We can create a transformation in our values, actions and overall world. The fact is: IT BEGINS WITH ME. IT BEGINS WITH YOU.
IT IS SIMPLE - You just have to get into a Transformation Table and experience the impact. I have had people say, “I don’t want this to end,” and “what’s next, I want to keep learning and growing.”
Transformation is FREE. John wants everyone to be able to take part. Together, we can rebuild our world through values and actions.
